About Us
The YGOP of Greenwich is primarily a social organization for people between the ages of 21 and 40, and the young at heart. The group also gives it's members the opportunity to get to know and support Republican candidates
by holding events for candidates to meet voters, assisting
in campaign volunteering, and supporting the local, state
and national party through volunteering. Founded in 1946,
the organization historically has up to 350 members.
The YGOP of Greenwich was founded to provide
an outlet for the young people in Greenwich to become part
of the political process. Many members of the group have gone
on to hold elective office on the local state and national
level.
